Over the last couple of years I’ve been working on various new projects with super-talented Korean studio Funnyflux – who are behind the huge hit SUPERWINGS. One of the ideas we’ve been developing is an amazing new boy’s animated action show – all top secret but MORE SOON.

Here are the PJ Masks – heroes from the huge new show by EOne and Disney US. I spent much of last year writing and story editing the first series – I’m now head-writing the second season, with even more pyjama-heroic thrills.

Summer Reading Challenge

Every summer, The Reading Agency holds the Summer Reading Challenge across UK libraries and schools, in which hundreds of thousands of children are encouraged to read some particularly thrilling books. And this year, the first YOUNG HOUDINI book has been selected to be on the list of recommended reads. Fantastic news – and I can’t wait to hear what all those readers think…

Gravity

I’m sometimes asked what the difference is between writing scripts and books, and I’ve never had a good answer. But recently I re-watched the Cuaron movie GRAVITY and I think I might have found one. The bit at the start where Sandra Bullock is quietly working on the space station, with George Clooney and other astronauts tinkering away nearby? That’s scriptwriting. And the bit where she’s flung off into space all on her own and has to find her way back to earth somehow? That would be a book…
